Signs of a pregnant bulldog

Question
Thanks for your quick reply. I counted the days to when she looked like she was open and tomorrow would be 63 days. I just felt her and the bottom of her stomache is soft but hard up by her ribs. I can't really feel anything move. Could I be off on the dates? When do the pups drop before birth?

Question -
Goodmorning! I have a 13 month female Scott bulldog. (also a male johnson). I think they may have mated when she was in heat. I did not see them but she looked very open. A few weeks later she was very aggresive with our male and got into several fights. I thought that maybe she is pregnant. Her nipples are pink and puffy around them. Over the past month or so she has seemed to be very gentle and calm where before she couldn't sit still when around her.I still do not know if she is pregnant for sure or I am just seeing things cause i want her to be. Are there other things I can look for to confirm that she is or isn't?

These are all signs of a pregnancy. If you have any idea of the date they may have bred, count 63 days and see where that takes you. Around the 53rd day or so, see if you can get her in to a vet for an xray and that will tell you if there are puppies and how many.  You need to know this if you have no experience with delivery.

You need to be prepared by providing her with a private space to deliver the puppies with no other dogs around at all. You also should be present for the birth since she is very young and this is her first litter.

Answer
Usually a female is start to "bag up" with milk several days in advance of a birth. You could be way off on dates too.

Generally, about a day or two in advance, if there's puppies, you will she them shift show and back toward the birth canal.
There's a possibility she's having a false pregnancy too because she's young.

I suggest you take her to the vet, get an xray and then you'll know exactly what's going on.
