QUESTION: my wife wants to our Chihuahua a friend and my son wants an american bulldog would this work i do not think so but what do you think thank you
ANSWER: American Bulldogs are high prey drive dogs. I think you're asking for trouble if you get one with a Chihuahua in the house.

QUESTION: so what your saying is if we get an american bulldog pup  8 weeks old and it will be neutered (my wife Chihuahua is 11 months old likes to play with other dogs )that pup will grow up and attack our Chihuahua

What I'm saying is that you need to have a little common sense. You're considering bringing in a puppy that will grow up to weigh over 100 lbs. and are expecting it to interact with a toy dog who probably won't weigh much more than 10 lbs as an adult. An AB puppy will weigh more than this at 8 weeks of age and will play rough from the start.

I'm not saying that an AB would attack your Chihuahua. I am saying that it's not a good match. Take it for what it's worth.
