Question
Hi I have a Olde English Bulldog and i wanted to know what the difference between an English and an Old English Bulldog are. My puppy doesn't have the smashed in face like i see in other english bulldogs but he does have the big paws and the curled tail.

Answer
The Oldie and the AKC Bulldog are two entirely different breeds.  There is a high percentage of AKC Bulldog in all Oldies, but it all depends upon what the other percentages are in determining what a dog will look like.  There is a range of "looks" in the Oldies from very "Bully" to mastiff, to American Bulldog and unfortunately, some look like big hounds.

The whole purpose of the Oldies is to recreate the historic bulldogge which was healthier and more agile than the modern dog. It's still a work in progress.
