Biting and Chewing

Question
Hello, I have a fifteen week old female english bulldog and she's an absolute love. She's doing excellent with housetraining and is very friendly. Her baby teeth have not fallen out yet and she is chewing quite a bit. She has a lot of toys that she likes to chew, but she particularly likes to bite my hands and fingers and chew on my couch cushions. I do not want her to think it is OK to be biting me or chewing on the furniture, so whenever she starts to chew I say "NO CHEWING" in a firm voice and pull my hand away. She seems to get it for the most part, but sometimes either just doesn't listen or stops only to go right back to chewing. I feel as though she views my hands as toys since they move and react to her biting them. I completely understand that this is relatively normal behavior for a puppy and that she has a short attention span, but I just wanted to make sure I am doing the best thing to discourage the biting and chewing. Is there anything else you would recommend doing? I am bringing her to puppy kindergarten in the beginning of October. Thanks so much for your advice, I really appreciate it.

Answer
You're basically doing all the right things. When she bites you, say "NO BITE" and give her one of her toys in place of yoru fingers. This is typical puppy stuff.

Kindergarten will be great for her as well as obedience when she's older. You're doing just fine.
