Hi Ashley,

The concensus from most vets that I know state that a good age to spay a dog is at about 4 months of age.  

Some studies that I know of have also mentioned that it is most beneficial to spay your dog before her first heat cycle (estrus) begins in order to keep long term complications to a minimum.  I am not sure of the accuracy of this, but it may be something to put in consideration.
