10 week old English Bulldog whining

Question
I have a 10 week old English Bulldog puppy, who has a very strong will.  I am interested in knowing if there is any way to help stop him from whining as often or if you have any suggestions on how I can help him to sleep through the night.  Right now he is sleeping in 2 hour increments without making a mess in his cage.  Is it realistic to think that he could sleep for 4 hour increments or is he still to young for that?  Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks,
GN

Answer
You have unreal expectations for this puppy already. He's just a baby.

As for the whining, simply ignore him and he will stop. Do not respond to it at all. Put his crate in an area away from you when you're sleeping and soon he will quiet down at night.

It will be at least a month, maybe longer before he can go 4 hours or more without soiling his crate. Don't feed him after 5 p.m. and pick up his water dish by 6 p.m. This will help but again, he's just a baby.
