Bulldog throwing up

Question
Last week our Bulldog had surgery for a blown ACL, the vet sent him home with antibiotics that made him sick to his stomach, he couldn't keep anything down and then he lost his appetite all together. We took him back to find he had a high temperature. After being home for about an hour, he threw up again. They did change his antibiotics Any ideas? Is there anything I can feed him that won't upset his tummy?

Answer
Poor boy!  They can give you some medication so he won't vomit.  Also, they can give this in a suppository form, you just insert into his anal area every 4-6 hrs.  Call and ask if you can pick some up.
They should have sent you home with this.

By the way, your dog could be vomiting because he is in major pain.  This operation is a tough one and he needs pain control

Best wishes ....
Don't let him do any stairs or jumping for at least 4 weeks.
