Obsession

I have  a 10 years old german shepherd male dog .. has an annoying obsession which is urine marking .. doing so all the time & everywhere  ..is it because he wants to be allowed to mate ? is mating possible at that age ?  .. he is anxious and stressed all the time & does not concentrate..runs away all the time and doesnt obey the orders .. he is also a picky eater and slim !! i did my best  to change these awful habits  but in vain

Is the male fixed?  An intact male will mark ALWAYS. He only "wants" to mate when there is a female in heat.  Dogs breed for procreation not recreation.

At 10 I would have him altered. It will stop the need to wander and also intact dogs have a higher rate of testicular cancer.  

What are you feeding him?  A raw diet is perfect for concentration, picky eaters and to gain weight.
