Hi,
I just breed my chi a couple of days ago this is the second cycle I have tried this the first time no success. She weighs about 5lbs. When should i be able to start seeing the first signs of pregnancy?

Breeding is a lot more complicated than people realize.
If your female is pregnant by 25 days in your vet should be able to do an ultrasound and give you a definite answer. For any dog this is definitely the best route to take, for a girl as small as yours an ultrasound is a necessity to determine if she's bred and how many. Later on in her pregnancy you will want to check the positioning of the pups to find out whether she is going to at least be able to attempt a natural delivery. Do have a vet standing by in case you need to have a csection preformed. Good luck! :)
