Dog and cat food.

I have a Raterier about 6Lbs aboout 1 year old. He was a adopt about 6 months ago. This morning he did eat a can of wet cat food because I am taking care of my mother in law cats. How bed cat food is for dogs? What should I do if it is bed?

Hello cat food is never to be given to dogs not any dog and not any kind of cat food it contains way too much protine and fat and has ill effects on the dogs kidneys. The dog will be fine if he ate this the once and is now eatting its normal dog food again...feeding a high quaility dry kibble is reccomended for daily feeding...canned dog food is bad for the teeth.
