Puffy eyed labrador

Hi, I know your not a vet and arent supposed to help with questions like my labrador retrviers vet apoinment is still a few days away and would like to know what could be wrong with her eyes right now.

Two days ago in the night when she came and layed across Her pillow next to mine I noticed her eyes were very puffy, I'd been so busy with work this past week, I was playing with her ears the morning before that night thou aftyer our walk and she was fine then. I have been using polysporn people eye derops in her eyes twice a day to help stop the reddness(it worked for minor red eyes over the lasy two years). THey are very puffy red and ozzing, I feel so bad for her and they are seeminly vbery very itchy , When I was wipping the gooe away this morning with a damp cloth she leaned into the cloth. What on earth could have happened? we do have no grass in our yard and normaly over the summer she gets slightly red eyes from the dust of the dirt but the dirt is still packed hard and isnt very dusty at all yet, let me konw what you think

Likely it is an infection.  With luck, it will clear up with some antibiotics from the vet.  The eye drops likely are a good idea.  Be sure to tell the vet about them.  She won't tell him much, and he needs all the information he can get.  Good to gather info before going to the vet.
