Separating two dogs

Question
I have two pugs that are 10 months old. They are brother and sister. Both fixed of course. I am having a hard time dealing with two dogs and my mother in law has offer to take the boy dog. I am concerned because they have been together since birth that they will grieve for each other or become sick because they miss each other. I have a busy schedule and I just can't clean up after two  dogs. Should I give her the boy dog and separate them or send them both with her?
Thanks
Carrie

Answer
Sorry Carrie shouldn't have that much cleaning up after them to do.
If they are pooping in the house, they need to be trained.
If you don't have a yard they have access to, they make litter boxes for dogs now, with a litter especially for dogs.
They could be taught to go in that.
I'm sorry I can't help yopu with that decision, but only you know how you feel about them and if you can bear to part with either one of them, or both.
You could give her one and see how they get on without each other.
If you are away most of the time, then I would not separate them. They would be lonely.
Dogs don't do well staying alone like cats do.
Sorry I couldn't help more.
