4 Month old Yorkie Pees & Poos inside my house

Hello Kristin,
I just adopted a 4 month old Yorker (cutest thing ever) for my 2 daughters. we have had him for a few days now and he stays in a small crate when he sleeps at night. In the morning, we take him out an he usually will go pottier. After he eats, exercises or naps we take him out  but he never goes..even if we stay with him for 45 mains. As soon as we bring him back inside..he goes on the floor. We are getting frustrated and my wife is having a mental breakdown over this. :( We even try to ave him stay in the crate after playing or eating for a bit so when we do take him outside..he should go. That logic does not work most of the time. On top of all this..he peed in his crate today for the first time and was only in there for 1 hour after being outside. Please help!! Any advice would be great.

Well you can try keeping him outside longer,the crate usually work but there are rare cases(like yours) that doesn't

In that case the only thing you can do is keep him out until he at least pees then back in the crate he goes,and keep him in the crate at all times except when you take him outside
