constant urination

My yorkie has been on meds for pneumonia for 5 weeks now, within a 2 month period, she got a steriod shot as well, and she began leaking urine all the time. the vet said it could be a side effect of the shot.  She got better and it has been about 6 weeks since she had the shot, and the problem has come back. She is still on clavamox could this be the problem?  She can take a nap and wakes up soaking wet,the vet seems unconcerned, what should I do, she is only 4 months old. Thanks

How much longer will she be on clavamox? If she won't be on it much longer, you might wait and see if the problem clears up when she is off the medication. I honestly don't know for sure if Clavamox can cause bladder control issues or not, but if your veterinarian hasn't given you any answers as to what could be causing this and is entirely unconcerned with it, the solution to your problem may very well be to find a different veterinarian. A good veterinarian will either tell you what is causing a problem and/or give you a solution to it, or explain to you why they aren't concerned with it. They shouldn't leave you empty-handed and wondering what to do.
