this is the area that I need to know how to remove my dogs stitches because the vet that did the surgagry is out of town and I don't know another vet around. so I need to just know how to remove them, she a 1yr old pom mix about 13lbs and healthy so the areas kinda small but I am sure of myself and can do as you tell me to, I am sending a photo of the area so you can look it over thank you take your time ..

If you're considering removing your dog's sutures on your own to save money, you should know that most vets have the suture remove change included in the bill.

Have you tried calling your vet's office and asking the staff if the stitches were supposed to be removed, or are they absorbable kind.
