cloes right eye
Cloe was having really bad eye boogies, my other dog (Tink) would clean them off. She started to loose hair around her right eye; at first I thought it was from tink licking it raw, but know it seems to be getting worse. She had been itching her eye and it looks red and swollen know. She did get into some insulation that had magically appeared out in the yard. I gave her a bath to see if it might help and she has stop pawing and scratching at her eye. I was wondering if, it is mange or just a skin irritation, what type of home remedy I might be able to try (if any) before there is any vet talk.

It sounds like your pup may have an allergy. Allergies are caused by numerous things like commercial dog foods, air pollutants, etc... Some of the symptoms are over licking, sneezing, and tearing.
Insulation has microscopic glass fibers that can work their way into the skin and make it very painful. You should take Cloe to the vet as soon as possible. She cant tell you of the pain she is in but that much hair loss, especially in a place like an eye where she doesnt lick herself, seems to be a big sign that she is in distress.
You can try Benadryl as a home remedy with no flavoring (see my previous posts on dosage and other info) but I really feel that her issue is with the insulation... Please let me know what happens.
