Maltipoo skin color

Question

Cooper   Hello, our family recently found a Maltipoo puppy on Craigslist. The family found that they didn't have time for him, and needed to get rid of him quickly, so we took him in!  He's a DOLL, but I had 1 concern. His hair is pretty thin and it looks kind of like he's shedding a little, but I think maybe some of his hair is breaking. The woman I got him from swears that both of his parents were Maltipoos, but when I bathed him today, he looked exactly like a Chinese Crested (which would explain the thinner coat I would assume). So here's my actual question. Our little guy has white hair, but his skin is pink with large brown areas and spots - also very much like a Chinese Crested (the pic I attached is of his belly, but his whole body is like this, including his face). Do you know if Maltipoo's are known to have skin like this?  If not, I'm gonna bet he has some Crested in him. It doesn't really matter to us a whole bunch - he's a pure doll, and we love him regardless - but I'm just curious. Thanks so much!

Well it is indeed an unusual colour for a Maltipoo,some poodles have markings that are similar to this and could have gotten it from the poodle side. Though Chinese Crested crosses are becoming more popular these days as well-and he could have a touch of crested in him. the main thing is as you said is that he is a great dog,regardless of his genetic background
