we have a male catahoula, he is about a year and a half...great dog never had a mess in the house and liked to be trained..he would sit,role over,fetch,leave,heal and about any comand asked..all of a sudden he wont role over at all and runs away when asked?? any insite

Rolling over and exposing your belly can be a very submissive thing.  He may have decided he is a big boy now and doesn't have to submit to you.  While obedience training done right teaches the dog you are in charge, it is possible for a dog to learn and comply with commands without understanding the need to submit to you.  I would check out the material at http://www.dogbreedinfo.com./topdogrules.htm
