Black Lab might be sick

Question
I have a male black lab around 7 yrs old His name is Bowser. His left eye is all gooeyed over and he looks just hollow. He is usually FULL of life and the past 2 days just lays there.  He shares a large pen with a great pyrenies(female) and another black lab/golden retriever(male) the female bowser are both dominant against the other male lab (which is much younger 3 yrs old) could the female be in heat and that is the reasons for there strange behavior? The other male lab will just go completely to the other side of the yard and cant wait for me to let him out. I usually have to when i am feeding them because they wont let him eat. Bowser was standing strangely with his tail completely straight up in the air. Almost like someone was pulling it straight up for him. Is that odd? I did worm him today so maybe that could also be the problem help

Answer
If his eye is all gooeyed over, I'd definitely take him to the vet.  It might be infected and you don't want to mess with his eyesight.  The worming might be a reason for his lethargy, however, it could also be the infection from his eye, if his eye is infected.  I doubt the female being in heat is causing the odd behavior you indicated, however, if they were picking on the young lab and he decided to fight back, he may have damaged Bowser's eye.
