Broken in half Jaw!!!!

I have a mixed Chihuahua, we've had him for years..Last night after running away he came back and had a his jaw literally split in half..Were Devastated and want our puppy to get better..But he is in serious pain..We were only able to afford some pain killer for him..
Times are rough..We don't know what to do now,but we want him to live!!

My sincere hope is that your message is some kind of a prank. If your dog has a severe injury, you have no choice but to provide that animal with the prompt professional healthcare it needs. It's an absurdity to think somebody on an Internet help-line could possibly help you. Please contact your veterinarian immediately, as your beloved pet is suffering an unimaginable amount of pain.

If affording a vet is a problem, ask your veterinarian if he or she will let you work out a payment plan. Many veterinarians are willing to work out a weekly or monthly payment plan so that you do not have to pay the entire cost of veterinary care up front. Contact your local shelter or Humane Association. Some shelters operate or know of local subsidized veterinary clinics or veterinary assistance programs.

Yet another option is to ask your employer for a salary advance,  or ask family and friends to borrow money.  

The bottom line is, this is all part owning a pet. Dogs sometimes need medical care just as children do, and not giving that care is never an option.
