Dog is scared of grass, help!

My 4 month old pitbull seems to be afraid to relieve himself on the grass.  He always ends up going on the street.  He really doesn't even like to walk near the grass.  He's done his business on the grass a couple times.  Please help!!

Don't force him.  4 months can be a bad time for fears.  Do you have a sidewalk or patio in your back yard?  Even lay down a sheet of something, cardboard?  Take him out there and a all or other toy.  Go out in the grass and play with the toy.  If he moves out into the grass, praise him.  Keep the session short, but do it about every day.  Let him see the grass as a fun place where you play with him.
