Toilet Training a Maltese ShihTzu

Hi! I recently got a maltese Shihtzu and I was just wondering what the best way to toilet train/train her would be? She's a gorgeous dog, and I was wondering how dogs react best to training , and whats the best way to get a good result

Hi! I have a shihtzu dog too. i teached him to go outside. but if you will go with your shihtzu to dogshows, it's better to teach her to do on paper or box (because if u go with him outside, her legs and hair would be dirty, and u will have many problems./ also it belongs from the enviroment. if u live in a dry country, u will have many problems with your dog's hair on the legs.it will be dirty and other...) . but if you won't go to dogshows and she's going to be cut or she's only a house pet, it's ok to teach her to go outside.

You can train your shihtzu very easy. just u have to have a tasty snack or something and show to your shihtzu (and say a command). also these dogs are very stubborn, for example my dog is teached lots of tricks, but sometimes he doesn't listen. also DON'T shout on your dog while teaching. you have to teach this dog while you're playing with her. when she starts listening you(ater 2 weeks or later), then don't play with her while teaching, and later, when she will know all the commands you can say a command for her strongly, but not in a angry way.
