dog skin problem

I have been going back and forth with the vet trying to get this skin problem figured out it is on her head and neck her neck is a little red and it breaks out in little spots kind of like acne but she is losing hair in the spots.  I went to the doc and one said it was allergies and gave me some little pills (pred 20mg) it worked a little but didnt clear it up. the other doc gave me antibiotics and it didnt do it I just set up an appointment to get a skin scraping hopefully I can figure it out that way.  I am feeding her IAMS puppy for large breed can she be allergic how do I know?  Can it be a puppy phase will she grow out of this please help me?

sorry, but i cannot answer to your question, cause i'm not a real vet. I can offer to try to change food, maybe your dog needs vitamins? Buy some vitamin pils or a syrup. Also, you should talk with your vet again, maybe it can be a serious problem? I can't help you more, sorry.
