i dont know who to ask

I have a almost 6 year old Beagle/bassedhound/cockerspainel mixed dog. And I came home yesterday, and she went to walk down the stairs to get off the porch to come to be and she started yelping. So I started feeling her body and she started yelping again when I touched her rib area. I think she may have a broken rib. BUT she can bend both ways just fine and she can jump but not as high as she use to be able too before the injury. And she wont go running. If it was a broken rib can a vet do anything for it. Or is a dog just like a human and has to be just let it be and let it grow back? Remind you shes a outside dog.

If you know anything that would be great. I dont who to ask

Whatever it is, a vet may or may not be able to or need to do something about it.  I think you to get her to see one.  It could be something that could take a turn for the worse over the weekend.

You could ask others here and perhaps get more of a guess what it is, but I am sure the bottom line would be see the vet.
