Drooling

My 1 year old. old Australian Shepherd Buddy has suddenly started drooling. This has been going on for about 2 days. I checked his mouth and the gum is red around where he has been drooling most. He doesn't seem to be in any pain and he is eating normally. Should I consult my vet?

Yes, are correct. Your dog needs to be examined by your vet, he's having some kind of a dental health issue.

Even though your dog doesn't seem to be in pain, that doesn't mean he isn't. Dogs are pretty stoic about showing pain.
