Question
We have always been a one dog family - male golden retrievers. We now have a four month old male cocker spaniel and my husband would like to get another male golden retriever pup.  Both male pups will be neutered between 4-5 motnhs.  Is it possible to raise two males together and not have a dominant dog?

Answer
Absolutely. You should be alpha in your home, not either of your dogs. Neutering will really help and raising them together will help as well. Go to alpha boot camp (type into your browsers search window ) to find many wonderful suggestions regarding establishing dominance in your home. Enjoy your puppies!
