Question
Hi we just recently purchased a 9 month old weimaraner, I dont think he was well taken care of as he was never brushed bathed or hardley played with.  Only kept outside in a kennel.  He has very spotted and blochy fur of dark and light greyish color, some of it is longer than the other.  I have owned weims in the past and never have seen one of this color.  The guy I bought him from said he just hasnt shed yet and would brush out, I have brush and bathed him and his coloring is still the same.  I need some advice on how and if I can get him to one solid color. thank you

Answer
Well what you can try is this trick, get him in the bath and really foam him up with shampoo go to a local petstore and buy a type of brush called a slicker brush, and with that brush with the shampoo still on him, brush him three times on each side, but don't do it more then that a day,as it can burn his skin, even give him a few days inbetween

I used to work for a dog groomer and this is exactly what they would do,only you would have to pay for it
