Question
My Question Is, Why Does My Dog When He's Sleeping He Will On Occasion Start To Whimper And With Each One He Will Flinch . He Is About 11 Years Old Not Deaf Or Blind Or Any Of The Other Stereo Typical Assumptions About Dalmations, To Be Honest He Is The Best Dog I've Ever Had . Great With My Kids Even When They Were Infants. He Is Very Loving And Is Obedient For The Most Part " Stubborn When When He Wants " But Not Offen. Is He Starting To In Senile Or Just Something This Breed Does When Aging He Has Been Doing The Whimpering, Flinching Thing For About 6months . Thank You For Your Time

Answer
Hi Steve,

My guess would be is that he is dreaming.  I don't know why it has just started in the last 6 months though. Dogs dream just like humans do.  I have a dog that even snores!  lol  Other than dreaming, I really couldn't tell you what it could be.

God Bless,
Becky
