dog   i was wondering if anyone knows what sort of dog i have? i only know its part chihuahua. here are some pictures!

Hi Sonny,

Anything I (or anyone else) could tell you is pure guesswork, and it's no more valid or correct than any guess you would make about your dog's breed heritage. That said (to me) it looks like maybe there could be some Spaniel in your dog.

The only way to know the breed heritage of a mixed breed dog, is to have a DNA test run. That's not as expensive as it used to be. Maybe that's something you'd like to consider. Here are some places that could tell you what breeds your dog might be:

I have to tell you, I've known several people who have done the DNA testing, and sometimes there is some pretty surprising results that would have never been guessed!

Whatever your dog's breed heritage, you can be sure that it's 100% unique, and all that matters is that he or she loves you.
