Last night my nine year old Lab woke us up panting,shivering
and pacing all over, we let her out and she wanted to come right back in, she was drinking a lot of water. She settled for awhile but started back up again. She was trying to go under our bed she never did that before. I told my husband it looks like she has ADHD.

She could have heard a sound that frightened her (is she sound-sensitive?) or it could be a pain reaction. If she is still having these behaviors today, try gently running your hands all over her to try to find a source for her pain.

A sore area will often radiate more heat than the surrounding tissues. You could then ice it down using a frozen combination of one part rubbing alcohol and two parts water in ZipLock Baggies and applying for twenty minutes on/twenty minutes off/twenty minutes on.

You should have a vet check her out if this continues.
