oily hair

Question
what would cause my dogs hair to become oily in a matter of minutes?one minute her hair is fine then on some days it will become oily in just a few minutes.

Well,some dogs like some people do have more oily fur,and some breeds more then others,esp water dogs such as labs,also hounds tend to get oily

But if it smells funny,or the skin is yellow it might be a skin infection,so the vet should look at it then

Also sometimes the food can make the fur oily esp if it is high in fish

There's shampoo out there for dogs with oily fur which do help
