dog licking feet

Hello, I would just like to know if by chance you have any suggestions on how to get the color back on my dog's feet after all the licking and pain is over?? he has been taken care of medically however now he has to walk around with these almost (red) feet...please help! thank you, lmc

As long as everything has been taken care of medically and a veterinarian is satisfied with his current state, there is nothing you can do for the color on his foot pads. The color will eventually turn black again with time as that outer layer of skin returns. Think of losing a layer or two of your own skin due to a burn - you would see a pink layer of dermis until the epidermis returned. That is the same process that will have to take place with your dog.
