Question

maltese we bought a dog and owner said its purebred maltese, ofcourse she is not but we loved her the moment we saw her.
she is having brown ears and around 8 lbs at 4 month.. coat is not as soft as Maltese. and her tail is always straight and not furry :)
yeah she is very smart, playful, alert, and sometimes shows us characteristics like a Labrador.

we asked doctors but its difficult to find out what breed it is, and there are some tests to find it out.. is there any other way to find out? Please check the attached pic of her.

My first impression when i saw her was that she had a little Chihuahua in her. I think maybe you should send your question to a breeder I googled. You will find the pictures interesting and will see that your pup is at least 80% maltese...Of course she could be a throwback to one of the dogs used to get a maltese, but that is stretching it since it is an old breed.
