Shaving a Pomeranian

Question

Brandy my Pomeranian!   I have a few questions. Is my Pomeranian a double coated Dog or a single coated Dog?
And do you think I can shave her?

Double coated and its your choice if you want to have her shaved.  Many poms look great in a short style.  If I groomed your dog, I would just do a real close trim in the chest, belly and back-end.  I would thin the hair around her head to make it rounder and trim her feet and tail.
