I took my 12yearold shih tzu lucy to get groomed today she always shakes when she goes to get groomed but now she can barley get up and favoring one leg she yelped a little bit when i picked her up and looks sad she did eat. I dont know what to do.I canot afford a to take her to vet rite now its a 150 dollars just for check up.She is my baby is there anything i can do in the mean time

I would check around.  I think my vet only charges $35 for an office visit.  Larger cities have low cost clinics.  

If they cut her hair, it is possible they nicked her a little.  It almost sounds like the groomer is too rough with her.  Maybe find a new groomer.  

You could try giving her some aspirin.  If she is in pain, it will reduce it.  Be very careful.  The dose is 5 mg per pound of body weight.  You may want to start with a baby aspirin if you can find it, or the low dose for heart patents.  A whole 81 mg tablet would be right for a 16 pound dog.  Try half of one if she is smaller.  It must be aspirin, buffered is best.  Don't give her Tylenol or any of the other newer stuff.
