Connie Patti, i got my dog Connie a few months ago and i just cant figure out what kind she is... can you tell me??? she has a long snout like a schnauzer and a curled tail and blue tongue like a chow...

Hi Glenn,

To me, it looks like Connie has the boxy shaped muzzle Chow. She can easily have Schnauzer in her too, but it's also possible that she has some terrier in her.

If you're really serious about finding out what kind of a mix Connie is, there is something much better than guesswork. These days there is DNA testing can will tell you precisely what kind of mix your dog is. This is interesting and fun. A friend of mine did DNA testing on her mixed-breed dog, with surprising results. Her large dog which looks like a Rottweiler Labrador mix, turned out to have a large percentage of Papillon in him!
