Question
Why does it happen and what can I do about my dogs slobbering problem. He is supposed to be a drymouth(bread that way). Plus his slobber smells terrible, please help!  My cloths, furniture and whole house smell like his slobber!  I love him to death, but he drools more than any dog I know, and it smells terrible, I dont know what to do! MY house is covered from floor to celing with it.  I would appreciate any advice.

Thank You

Answer
Hi Monica,

You don't say what breed of dog you have, but some breeds are more prone to this than others.  I have no idea why he does, and it is doubtful you can do anything about the slobbering.  However, the smell probably comes from teeth that need cleaning.  Take him to your vet for a professioal teeth cleaning and I bet you see a big difference.

God Bless!
