QuestionI was told their ears go from erect to dropped during the teething stages, and when they get their permament teeth the ears remain erect. Is this true?
AnswerWhile I am not that familiar with Papillons, that is probably a true statement for the majority of them. It seems to be a given for most breeds that during teething those with upright ears will have them drop at that time, while those whose ears fold over will have them go upright during teething. Those that go upright are less likely to return to their normal state, it seems.
