Chihuahua and jealousy

Question
I bought a 3-year old chihuahua a couple of weeks ago and she's mostly wonderful.  But if someone comes over, including my grandchildren she becomes horribly jealous.  She's friendly and then when we hug hello she barks and goes alittle crazy.  How can I stop her from this behavior?

Hi Pat,  have a spray bottle filled with water ready, and when she starts the behavior, spray her with the water and tell her "no".  Everytime she does the behavior, raise the bottle and tell her "no".  Soon you'll just be able to show her the bottle and she'll stop.  That's a very typical Chihuahua trait.  Hope this helps,
