Leaving a dog overnight

Hi, I have a 3 year old male dog that has a huge backyard with  a dog door into the house. Is it ok to leave him overnight? He is very loved (slightly spoilt)and well exercised. He does appear to sulk every time I leave the house - hides under tables, so he hates me leaving but there appears to be no destructive behaviour whilst I am out.

I would say it is worth a try. Dogs in general do best if they have access to the house and if you have seen no destructive behavior to date then hopefully all will go well.

Try not to make a big deal when you leave or come home, just act like how you want him to be-OK with it.
