My Shit-zu Pregnant??

My shit-zu is almost 3 and I believe got pregnant by a springer spaniel... Fairly medium size-large size dog?? I am not quite sure if it is his or not... My question is because she is only 9 pounds before she was pregnant;will she be able to have these baby puppies or will I have to bring her in for a sissarein?? Sorry about spelling.. I called around to different vets and they said I would have to wait till she's about 1 week to delivery and I just can't wait that long.. I don't even know exactly when she was stuck with the male dog... My neighbor spotted them... Another question I have was my sister has a Pekinese male dog and my dog and him got stuck together like 5 times day after day.. but he is supposed to be neutered but I think that one of his balls was never dropped and I was wondering if he could still have sperm or if that is not possible? This is an unfortunate accident which was 100% preventable. Assuming your dog is indeed pregnant, she should be spayed after weaning her puppies, otherwise this won't be her last unplanned litter.

More than calling around to vets, you need to have your dog examined by a veterinarian to confirm the pregnancy. Your vet will be able to give you a due date, so you'll know when to arrange to have the Cesarean done. The doctor will also be able to tell you about pregnancy problems you should watch out for.

A C-section should never be performed BEFORE the dog's overdue date, it is always best to wait till labor starts, OR, temperature drops below 99 fahrenheit and stays down. Timing a C-section is EXTREMELY important for puppy survival.

If you don't want this litter, you can have it terminated.
