Puppy collars

We just brought home our 2 month old Golden Retriever.  She does not seem to like her collar.  She is scratching her neck a lot whenever we put it on.  I'm not sure if it is too bulky, or she just needs to get used to it.  The collar is not that thick, but when you adjust it to fit her neck it is basically doubled in thickness.  Do we keep it on her and ignore the scratching or buy a new one?  Thanks so much!

She just needs to get used to it, Aileen. What kind of collar is it? From the sounds of it, it's a buckle collar rather than a snap-around collar. For puppies, I like the snap-around type of collar, because you can adjust them as the puppy grows, and there is no excess strap flopping around.
