Question

12wk old male Shetland
Hi. I just bought a 12wk old Shetland Sheepdog. I was just wondering, as I haven't seen anything online about it, are they self feeders?? Or do we need to put him on a feeding schedule?? Also, what are some good ways to potty train?? He hasn't gone at all and we've had him for about 4hrs. He was trained at his old home to use puppy pads, should we continue that method since he's used to it??

Answer
It's best to try and put them on a schedule,to prevent picky eating habits later on

You can continue using puppy pads,or you can also try crate training, but since he is used to the puppy pads I would stick with those for now-it sometimes takes a day or two the puppy to settle in a new home so you might not see him go for a day
