My dog is a chocolate lab pup round 6 months. we have recently moved and she is peeing at the door before she is let out. i thought it was from her relaxing to sit but she is also peeing randomly on the steps. Someone has said it could be over submissive and another has said a possible urinary infection. I am not sure not what the symptoms of an infection are or why she is peeing. do you have any recommendations or know the symptoms of an infection? thanks for your time

Usually with an infection you will see frequent straining and dribbling.  If she hasn't had her rabies shot yet, you might schedule it soon and discuss the problem with the vet while your are in.

Being more attentive to her, praising her for going to the door, and letting her out quicker may help.
