Question
My mother in law watches my toddler during the day. She has 2 grown dogs, 1 shepard and a shepard mix. They are very good with my child. Ny mother in law is worried that if she's toilet training my daughter and she makes a mistake that the dogs will go and urinate in the areas my daughter soiled. I never heard of this and don't belive it's common, but she says it's true. Please offer any insight to this unbelievable scenario.

Answer
I have not heard of that either.  If the dogs don't already mark, there's nothing to think that they would start all of a sudden just because you're toddler had an accident.  If she's concerned, just clean up the puddle or pile right away and use a commercial product on it for pet accidents (many varieties available at any pet store).  That will eliminate any odor and the dogs will have no reason to mark.
