what to give my old dog

I've had my female Queensland Heeler for 16 years. She's been slowing down quite a bit last few mos. Usually feed her the standard dry dog foods. Purina, Ol Roy, lamb and rice  type. Didn't know it was not the best food for dogs. What do you suggest? She's always been in good health and gets her yearly vet checks etc. Never been sick that I can remember. Thanks, Bob.

I love heelers buts tehre too high energy for myself, congradulations on having her healthy and happy for so many years. I would feed her senior dog foods. If you like the less expensive brands and she does too then peddigree I know for sure makes a senior dog food, purina one might but I'm not sure about purina.
