will she take care of the pups

i was wondering my mom has recently got a female boxer who has already had one litter of pups. and the previous owner said that she would not care for them. will she never take care of a litter of pups?

Unfortunatly, there is no way to know. She may not have taken care of them because the previous people were irresponsible breeders and didn't know what they were doing so did not have her in optimal conditions, its possible it was her first litter and so she didn't understand, and its always possible she had some sort of medical condition where she was too weak to care for the pups. There is really not enough information to know WHY she didn't care for them, and if that is still an ongoing condition that would cause her to abandon her puppies again. However, unless you are prepared to handraise a litter of puppies from day 1 (feedings every hour, every hour, around the clock, cleaning, stimulating them to go to the bathroom, keeping them warm, etc) I suggest you do NOT breed her again. Spaying her will make her a much happier, healthier member of the family.
