Puppy tooth...

Question
Hello there, and thank you in advance for your time and efforts. My question is this... I have a small dog, half chihuahua half dachshund. He is about 6 months old and has lost all, but 2 of his puppy teeth. The other teeth are coming in well.

My question is about these two teeth that remain. One in particular seems to be problematic. Here is the deal... it exactly half way "severed" from the "nerve." In some strange occurrence, it is now "resting" up against the roof of his mouth. Mind you, his teeth are all very small. I am not sure if it bothers him, but I went in to "wiggle" it a bit to see if it would just come out. But there is still a decent amount of attachment there.

My question is... is there anyway I can dab on a touch of Orajel and "pull" the rest of the tooth?

I hesitate to go see a vet because I know how extremely expensive these things can be, especially if it will take only a minute to fix.

Thank you!

Answer
Hello,

Don't put orajel in your dogs mouth first of all, Secondly it will fall out when its ready...I've never had to assit a dog with puppy teeth myself...my boston terrier thou had a few that werent coming out at All and were pulled during her spay surgery.
