Doggy Door

Our 18mounth old Jack Russell will not use the doggy door we have installed. I've tried everything from rewarding him to pushing him in and out. Our other Dog uses it with out any problem at all. I think hes scared of it.. Any advice on how to train him would be unbelievably appreciated. Thanks for your time

Hi Rodd,
Prop the door in the open position.  He may have gotten caught in it once and has not forgotten.  Once he goes through it in the open position with the other dogs, gradually start lowering and tying it half open.  When he gets used to that, then close it a little more, etc.  Ok on how this will work?   Let me know
