dog crying after laying down.

Question
My dog for about the past two days when he lays down for a while he wakes
up crying and can't move to get up. Or if we try to move him he starts crying
loudly like he is in horrible pain. But I don't see any marks on any of his legs
or anything in his paws. Also after about five minutes he seems fine. He
plays fetch and everything. Is this because he is getting older??

He could have a pinched nerve or arthritis, possibly in his back or hips.

Carefully feel all over his body, trying to find one area that is a little warmer than the areas around it. If you do find that, you will know where his trouble spot is. Ice that down for 20 minutes 2-3 times a day.
